Business advisory firm Deloitte has announced the appointment of Mark Williams as a partner in its economic consulting practice in a major piece of
international tax jobs news.
Mr Williams will be joining the team of other 30 tax experts that make up Deloitte's current economic consulting practice and will be primarily focused on telecoms clients.
He comes to the role with a wealth of
audit jobs experience, having been previously employed at the World Bank for the last five years.
In this role, Mr Williams was responsible for leading the team creating the bank's strategy for African broadband infrastructure.
Prior to this, Mr Williams worked for Frontier Economics for six years. Chris Williams, Deloitte economic consulting partner, welcomed the appointment.
“We are delighted that someone with Mark’s deep insight of the UK and international telecoms industry has joined Deloitte’s successful economic consulting practice," he said.
