INTELLIGENT NETWORKING SHORTCUTS SEARCH AND ACCELERATES REVENUE GAINS

CONTINGENT SEARCH - CORPORATE FINANCE - RUSSIA

Having emerged from the credit crisis, this Big 4 firm observed an increase in deal flow across Russia and the CIS. Wishing to take advantage of this re-emergence of the M&A market, especially across the consumer and industrial products market, they prioritised hiring a new Partner with strong connections and a transportable portfolio of business.

Our client was keen to undertake a traditional search project immediately, however due to our comprehensive network in this market, we advised that prior to a formal search we would first speak to all our contacts with the necessary skills and requisite portfolios of business.

We spoke to a number of senior contacts in the market on a confidential basis, including a leading competitor of our client who had previously disclosed a number of issues he had with his current firm.  Following a preliminary discussion, a positive initial meeting led to the start of the formal interview process.

Having advised our candidate on the development of his business case and the intricacies of a Panel interview, he was offered the role, which he subsequently accepted despite a complex buy back from his current firm. The entire process was completed within 3 months and it is anticipated that this hire will add $3million in the first year.

The Integral difference: Thanks to our extensive network, on this occasion we were able to shortcut the search process and whilst still ensuring that we supplied the best candidate for the role.
