TIGHT DEADLINES DON’T MEAN CUT CORNERS

INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH – FINANCIAL SERVICES – US

After successfully completing a number of projects in London for one of our main investment banking clients, we were introduced to their New York business and briefed to identify a senior tax professional in the US market with Banking Capital Market Structuring experience.

Timing was critical to ensure the appointment was made within the current financial year.  As a result, we had only 6 weeks to map the market and provide detailed profiles on the shortlisted candidates – roughly half the time a project of this scope would normally require.  Despite the time limits, our dedicated research team produced a detailed talent map of candidates from target professional services firms who were all approached to gauge their interest in the client and the role.  A shortlisted candidate was successfully appointed and we are now the preferred supplier for this client’s most challenging roles.

The Integral difference: This assignment was characterised by a demanding client, hard-to-find skills and a very tight deadline.  We succeeded because of our professional team of researchers whose industry knowledge, existing network and market-leading research capability allowed them to compress the market mapping exercise whilst not compromising the quality of their output.
